Map It Monday - Framed French Country Flower

A French Country Needlepoint Chair on the French Country Cottage blog
inspired today's card.  Using the Stampin' Up Framed Tulips Embossing Folder is a pretty way to encase the flower on the card front!  The map for this week is about as basic a map as I could create - put the image front and center.

NOTES:
stamp sets:  Swirls and Curls Verses,  Flower Fest
ink:  Pear Pizzazz Classic Stampin' Pad
card stock:  Very Vanilla, Pear Pizzazz, Rose Red
Designer Series Paper:  Greenhouse Gala (retired, 2010/2011 IB&C) - I scored two pieces of dsp on a paper trimmer with a scoring blade and creased the score line with a bone folder.  Adhesive was applied only below the score line on each piece.  The dsp panels were then aligned above and below the stamped flower piece so that each  "flap" extends out from the card front.  These "flaps" give the card dimension and interest.
Textured Impressions Embossing Folder: Framed Tulips
punches:  2 3/8"Scallop Circle,  1 3/4" circle
other:  Big Shot, Scoring Blade and Paper Cutter, Stampin' Dimensionals,  Paper Snips or Trimming Scissors
