THINK ABOUT COLOR THURSDAY - Really Rust & Old Olive

Do you remember the stamp set called Wow Flowers? This card uses that stamp set and any curvy message stamp (like Cheep Talk, for instance).

First, stamp the Wow Flowers flower in Old Olive ink onto a piece of Old Olive cs & adhere it to a Really Rust card. Set this aside.

Next, stamp a stem with the curvy message stamp on Whisper White cs & layer the flower, anchoring it onto the cs with a brad. The flower is created by stamping the Wow Flower stamp in Really Rust onto white cs, & using a scallop circle punch & 2 different sizes of circle punches.

Sponge the edges of the white cs with Really Rust ink (or rub the edges along the inkpad). Layer the white cs onto Old Olive cs, then onto a Really Rust card. Add a strip of Old Olive cs at the bottom created with the scallop edge punch. You can sponge the scalloped edges with Old Olive ink if desired.

The leaves can be made with Old Olive cs & either a wavy embossing folder or a stylus that creates score lines onto the cs. The leaves can then be free-hand cut.
