Today's post reinforces a simple scrapbooking tip that is often overlooked - choose paper by pulling a color or 2 from your photos.
The colors in this patterned scrapbook paper are not among my usual favorite scrapbooking color combinations. However, my photos & the paper shared some of the same colors. The paper was quite busy, so I toned it down by pairing it with sold colors found in the patterned paper. It works. Going out of one's "color comfort zone" sometimes pays off.
The "r" in "roo" (kangaroo) is from Stampin' Up's Lots of Letters chipboard package.
