Think About Color Thursday - Bermuda Bay, Orchid Opulence, Regal Rose

NEW CATTY CANDY!!!.....Do you enjoy seeing my blog on a fairly regular basis? If so, send me an email telling me why you like it & I will add your name into a drawing for New Catalog Candy. What's "candy"? Little embellishments that can be added to cards or scrapbook pages (brads, hardware, ribbons, stamped images, etc.) Attendees at the July 9 Stamp Camp will also get a chance at the drawing (you get 2 chances to win if you do both!). We will draw the winner's name at the July 9 Stamp Camp. I will put together a "candy bag" for you during July. You will be notified by email if you are not present at camp. This should be fun!

So how has Bermuda Bay been for you so far?

Today I show you a color combination that mixes Bermuda Bay with Orchid Opulence and Regal Rose.

The inked wheel is run across a strip of Whisper White cs (see last Friday's post for instructions on how I used the Stampin' Around wheel & handle without an ink cartridge). I then colored in the flowers with Regal Rose and Orchid Opulence and Yo Yo Yellow Stampin' Write markers.

The flowered cs is adhered to a strip of Bermuda Bay cs.

Adhere the piece to the card, leaving room to adhere another cs piece in Regal Rose underneath.

Before adhering the Orchid Opulence cs, slide it through the eyelet border punch.

Until tomorrow, enjoy the Bermuda Bay sunshine!

Linda :)

    Hi Linda -

I do enjoy your blog. I was out of town last week so I didn't get a chance to view it. So I am making up by reading last week's blog with this week's blog. I love your ideas and suggestions. I particularly like the look of the "wheel" and will have to try this. Could you incorporate this technique (without the ink cartridge) in one of your camps? Please add my name to the candy drawing! See you next week. I previewed the new catalog and will be sending you an order which I will pay for on July 9th. Gee, I bet you can guess what stamp set and wheel accessory I will be buying!!!!

    Karen
