There's a special bridal shower later this month that I made invitations for.
I think the invitations turned out very pretty. Melon Mambo cs is run thru a Big Shot Die-Cut Machine in the Stampin' Up Manhattan Flower embossing folder and then trimmed across the tops of the flowers. A Night of Navy strip of cs is adhered on the bottom edge & a brad is inserted in the bottom corner thru the pink/navy front and the white cs card base. The white card base is the computer-generated invitation message.
Have you noticed that the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set matches the Manhattan Flower embossing folder? Those two products create a beautiful project when paired together. So, I stamped the flower in Night of Navy ink onto Melon Mambo cs & cut around the flower. The flower is adhered with dimensionals.
I also punched the top edge of the invitation with the eyelet border punch to make it look like white eyelet lace.
I also designed this pretty matching candy favor for the guests!
