Whatever Wednesday - Silver and Pom

Whatever Wednesday's card this week is an elegant wedding card similar to a card that we made at my May Stamp Camp.  Here is the interior:

This card is created with several layers, each lifted with dimensionals.

The layers are dry embossed with an elegant swirl embossing folder.  One of the layers is a diecut Top Note.

The embossed cs pieces are sponged lightly with silver ink and heated with a heat tool to avoid smearing.  The wedding dress and "bliss" are images from the Stampin' Up Summer Mini Catalog's Blissful Bride stamp set.  The images in this wedding stamp set are exquisite!

The images are stamped in silver ink, then sprinkled with clear EP and heat embossed.

Pink Pomegranate is a Stampin' Up In Color from a couple years ago.  I had some cs and beautiful Pink Pomegranate ribbon left over, so I chose that color against the silver and white for its bright "punch".  You could substitute another "pop" of color instead of the Pink Pomegranate - try Night of Navy or Rose Red or even Real Red or Rich Razzleberry!  The bright cs square is punched with the scallop trim corner punch and the scallop trim edge punch.

The ribbon is wrapped around the fold of the card and double knotted.

I love this card and I am looking forward to giving it to a special couple for their wedding day!
